The view doesn't get much better than this.

Nestled in the foothills of Pinnacle Peak Park amid the splendor of the high Sonoran Desert is the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, a luxury hotel that is the epitome of sophisticated simplicity. Designed in gorgeous contemporary Southwestern fashion that fits its surroundings through the adobe-style architecture, you have a destination, not just a hotel. For the outdoor enthusiast this is the place to be. Hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, canyoneering, Jeep and Hummer tours, golf on championship courses, and day trips to the Grand Canyon and Sedona are all at your fingertips. A full-service spa and fitness center features a variety of therapies. The rooms have a spacious living area, custom furnishings, handcrafted art, a fireplace, and most have a private landscaped terrace. The two-tier pool complex is magnificent with staggering views of Pinnacle Peak, complementary and reserved cabanas, refreshing drinks, casual fare, and a separate adult-only pool.

Now for the food. The menus in all the property’s restaurants are seasonally inspired and innovative at prices for everyone, whether casual cocktails in Onyx, brunch in Proof, or an elegant evening in Talavera. No matter which place you choose, there are always you will always be accompanied by the spectacular view.

Talavera
Talavera is a modern take on the classic steakhouse with an upscale casual approach to dining. Ingredients are sourced as locally as possible with items like Queen Creek olive oil, Mesa Farms goat cheese, Sunizona heirloom tomatoes, Mount Hope dried berries, and Arizona grass-fed beef. The menu is fresh with fan favorites of bacon-wrapped Buffalo tenderloin with mole oaxaqueño, foie gras, cherries; Chilean sea bass with a pecan-herb crust; mussels, clams, and smoked–tomato consommé; vegan pappardelle wild mushroom ragout, walnut gremolata, rapini, and coconut milk alfredo. You can choose to dine indoors or alfresco under the Sonoran stars. It is truly breathtaking.

Proof
Proof is a Wild West canteen for today’s crowd. Craft beer and cocktails are flowing while fun-loving patrons enjoy a game of shuffleboard. The menu is filled with home-style comfort foods like shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and house-made ice cream sundaes. They even have a soda jerk station. The Bloody Mary doubles as an appetizer when topped with candied bacon, green olives, and cocktail onions.

Onyx Bar & Lounge
Adjacent to Talavera, Onyx Lounge is all about shareable plates and unique entrées focused on Southwestern tapas. At sunset, the hot spot offers unobstructed views of the valley and desert. Wet your whistle with regionally inspired cocktails, signature frosty margaritas, and an extensive selection of wine, beer, and tequila.

Saguaro Blossom
Located at the pool’s edge, Saguaro Blossom is a happy, tranquil spot. An energetic staff is ready to fulfill your every poolside need. Cocktails and light Southwestern spa cuisine will please your palate. The menu emphasizes appealing appetizers, snazzy salads, and signature sandwiches, tacos, and burgers.
