Food trucks are a novelty, and they’re growing in popularity all over the country — and the world. We’ve covered the 101 Best Food Trucks in America 2015, but if you’re more of a sweets person, we’ve also rounded up the 25 Best Dessert Trucks in America 2015. If you’re L.A.-centric or a Golden State native, though, here are three of the best food trucks in the city. We wouldn’t be opposed to trying everything on these menus.
Jogasaki Sushi Burrito Truck
Sushi and burritos are two of our favorite things and this spot thought to combine them. This unique truck offers menu items like Spicy Salmon Delight, with avocado and cucumber, and the Golden State Roll, a California roll deep-fried and served with eel sauce.
The Lobos Truck
Longing for American comfort food “with a twist?” Then you’ve found your dream destination at this L.A. food truck. Try the Big Lobo, an Angus beef burger with a fried egg, Cheddar and Jack cheese, fresh tomato, and guacamole, or an item from the mac and cheese bar.
Savory and sweet waffles? Count us in. Try ordering the Classic, which is a sweet Nutella waffle, and top it with bananas or strawberries. Savory waffles like BBQ Chicken and the Wafl Dog (with a hotdog) are also on the menu. You can check out the truck’s upcoming schedule here.
