Ceremonies may be held in several different areas on the grounds, each equally beautiful. They include the outdoor Grape Arbor, the veranda which overlooks the property and the Victorian Conservatory inside. Tarrywile Mansion provides separate second-floor rooms for the bride and groom and their respective parties to relax and prepare before the ceremony. It grants six hours for the reception (plus an additional three for setting up and cleanup), and since it hosts just one event a day, when those hours are is up to you.

Wethersfield's Webb Deane Stevens Museum gives visitors a re-creation of New England life in the early 19th century through several historic homes and buildings. One of them, The Webb Barn, can also be reserved for a unique wedding. It's nestled away behind the museum's Colonial Revival Garden so you'll be enveloped by lush foliage. In 1965, Branford businessman and designer Bill Miller remade his Route 1 property into a grand castle that's a perfect setting for a stylish wedding.
