Top Vegetarian Burgers In South Florida
The Lost and Found Saloon
J185 N.W. 36 St.
Miami, FL 33127

The Lost and Found Saloon is what happens when a veggie burger goes Tex Mex. The vegetarian chipotle black bean burger on sourdough comes with coleslaw and is topped with onion, tomato and pickles. However the restaurant recommends adding cheese, avocado or a portobello mushroom to really bring out the flavor. It comes with no sauces so you can add ketchup or mustard or go with the in-house favorite, sour cream. It should be noted that this is not a vegetarian establishment, so if you can't stand the smell of bacon wafting through the air, this might not be the place for you.
Choices Vegan Cafe
379 S.W. 15th Road
Miami, FL 33129

Upon first walking into Choices Vegan Cafe, naturally, you'll opt for the safest bet with the catchiest name on the menu. If that's you, then you would choose the veganator burger, but what you don't know is that this burger is not freshly made and it is outsourced. So the better option would be the simran burger. The patty is made from garbanzo beans, lentils and peas topped with sauteed onions, lettuce, tomato and Daiya cheese on an Ezekiel bun. Like the title of the restaurant, it's completely vegan and best of all, it's fresh so you know you're getting an authentic vegan experience.
Vegetarian Restaurant by Hakin
73 N.E. 67th St.
N. Miami Beach, FL 33162

Vegetarian Restaurant by Hakin makes every vegetarian best of list in Miami and it's due in part to the chickpea burger curry patty. It's made fresh out of chickpeas and tastes so good that you'll forget its vegetarian. Hakin's other offerings include the sunburger made with sunflower, the ancient quinoa burger and the wildburger made with tofu. The latter three burgers are not freshly prepared but they are made in house and taste just as good as the chickpea burger curry patty.
