Scarlet (nicknamed Little Red for her red hair) is spending her summer with her grandmother, working to help keep Granny's Cafe and Rock Shop open for business. But the family restaurant is on some very valuable land and local businessman J.J. "The Wolfman" Jones wants the property all for himself. What will Little Red do to help save her grandmother's cafe? This play – with fun music to accompany it – will help teach children the importance of bravery and self-reliance. Look for references to a well-known fairy tale while watching.

Based on the real life Algonquin chief's daughter who lived in the 1600s, this play tells the story of Pocahontas, a young girl who loves playing with her friends Raven, Squirrel and Wolf. She has made new friends with the settlers of Jamestown colony who have recently arrived in their ship and are trying to build their new lives in a land that is foreign to them. See how the bonds of friendship can help bring two different communities together. This production will be performed by KVPAC's summer students.

This fun musical set in the 1960s is performed for local kids by local kids. HITS Theatre's production of high schooler Tracy Turnblad and her quest to become a dancer on the "Corny Collins Show" will be performed by local junior high and high school students. See what happens to Tracy as she tries to navigate being a teenager who is different, and see how she makes new friends and gets caught up in the Civil Rights movement to stand up for equality.
