UNLV Community Band benefit for U.S. Vets at Sun City MacDonald Ranch The UNLV Community Band will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 2 at Sun City MacDonald Ranch, 2020 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway. Admission is free. The concert will benefit U.S. Vets which helps military veterans and their families transition from military service to civilian work.

Station Casinos: Host largest 4th of July fireworks show in Southern Nevada with two property fireworks show. Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock Resort will host fireworks displays around 9 p.m. July 4 nine minutes in length. RECOMMENDED PUBLIC VIEWING AREAS While there truly will be no bad seat in the house, each property has carved out a public viewing area for their guests:
- Green Valley Ranch – Backyard pool area
- Red Rock Resort – Pool area and amphitheatre
Caesars Palace: The center Strip resort will launch fireworks at 9 p.m. on the fourth. You'll be able to see the display from The Strip.

Stratosphere, Level 8 Pool Party. Must be 21+ to attend. Dip your feet in 8 Pool for a concert by Zowie Bowie ($10), or kick back at Level 107 Lounge (two-drink minimum required after 6 p.m.) to watch fireworks. The Linq: The new outdoor mall between Flamingo and The Quad will set off fireworks from the parking lot just behind The High Roller at 9:30 p.m. Since this is the first time this location will host fireworks, we're not too sure how much you'll be able to see from The Strip or The Linq.
The High Roller: Enjoy a FREE drink. Chance to see fireworks from the world's tallest observation wheel. General admission for The High Roller will be priced at $49.95 during 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on the Fourth. Boulder City: Boulder City will mark its 66th annual Damboree on July 4. Fireworks will go off at 9 p.m., however, a daylong celebration is planned. A parade will take place at 9 a.m. while a carnival and live entertainment will run from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Boulder City is 20 miles from Vegas.
Rockets over the Red Mesa Returns For The Fourth Eureka Casino Resort in Mesquite will host the Independence Day party Friday, July 4. The Nevada POPS Orchestra will be back again this year with a full 31-piece orchestra performing a 75-minute program, highlighting 100 years of American music. This free event will begin at 6:00 p.m. A live performance from the Nevada POPS Orchestra at 8:00 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:00 p.m. The orchestra will accompany the fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day in true American style. 24th Annual Rockets over the River Just after dark on Independence Day, Friday, July 4, the huge 24th annual Rockets Over The River fireworks display will be free for public viewing along the entire Laughlin River Walk and your favorite Laughlin hotel. Typically, this extraordinary display is one of the most spectacular and exciting in the West as the pyrotechnic company shoots its rockets into the dark desert sky and the reflection of each exploding shell shimmers over the swift-moving Colorado River. Primm: Primm Valley Casino Resorts will host their annual fireworks display starting at dusk July 4. Park in the Star of the Desert Arena lot at Buffalo Bill's for the best viewing. The show will last 18 minutes. Primm is 40 miles south of Vegas on I-15.
