Families with babies and small children rarely have a lot of disposable income, especially in these difficult economic times. Kid Around Resale in Norwalk is a welcome oasis in a world of expensive children's clothing, as it offers "gently used" clothes in "good" or better condition, and offers it at affordable prices. Maria and Matt DeVito run a nice, clean – emphasis on the word clean – bright and welcoming establishment. Their goal is not to sell parents one piece of designer clothing, but a "whole bundle" of clothes for baby. Kid Around Resale will also buy the clothes back when baby grows up – as long as the clothes meet their "clean" and "gently used" standards. This shop carries infant to size 10 clothes and shoes, and offers a coupon on its website for $5 off any purchase of $30 or more. Kid Around Resale's staff also speaks Spanish, which is an added boon for the immigrant population of Norwalk and the surrounding area.
