Top Places In Las Vegas With Senior Discounts

Seniors love to relocate to Las Vegas for their retirement so it comes as no surprise that you can find discounts on everything from transportation to restaurants and especially for dining and special events at local casinos. Thrift stores also offer discounts to seniors and there are many "hidden bargains" at merchants if you only ask.

www.rtcsnv.comThe Strip has some of the best shows and entertainment in Las Vegas, including the Conservatory at the Bellagio. It also has some crazy traffic and dangerous snarls with cabs, buses and tourists, plus locals all jockeying for space. It therefore comes as no surprise that the RTC or Deuce are excellent alternatives to attempting to drive on Strip roads. The Deuce on the Strip is a line of double-decker buses that gives you the change to take a more scenic route. You can buy passes for 24 hours or by the week or month. If you want to make this a regular alternative, you may want to consider getting a Reduced Fare Card to save half the cost. Seniors aged 60+ should be prepared to show a medicare card and/or a valid driver's license or photo ID (issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles). Passes are available online, at registered vendors or at select ticket vending machines.

A three-story experience in a real refurbished old courthouse, it could very well take you a good few hours to walk through it, especially if you come armed with a camera. If you show your wristband, you also receive a discount at nearby Jason's Deli, the Downtown Grand or Pizza Rock (just tell 'em Bugsy sent you).
