Halloween is for adults too. There is a lot planned to make this party the best and most spooktacular party in town. This party is strictly for adults only and will feature live burlesque, a fantasy costume contest with prizes, pole dancers, a dungeon and more. Costumes are required for this, and masquerade costumes are preferred. If you are looking for a little risqué adult entertainment for your Halloween festivities, then you can't go wrong with the Exotica Ball. Only 450 people will be admitted, and the party did sell out last year, so you may want to grab your tickets early, or you may be left out. The ball gets a first run at Shine in Boulder on October 24.

The biggest Halloween Party in Denver is back for this sixth annual Paranormal Palace at the McNichols Event Center. There are three full floors of performers, Halloween décor, a mini haunted house, dark corridors and terrifying rooms, with a high-quality, theatrical focus. Make sure to spend some time on your costume so you can get a chance at the $2,000 cash prize costume contest. There are a few ways to enjoy this shindig. Pick up a general admission ticket for $79, which includes an open bar and admission to all of the entertainment. Or you can grab a VIP ticket for $129, which includes top shelf open bar and access to the VIP lounge. You can reserve a table for $99, which seats four people, or you can grab a Cabana for $299 for a couch pit reservation for up to six people.

It's the 13th year for this event, though it's moved locations from the PS 1515 (which is now closed) to the Bluebird to accommodate the growing attendance. This is one of the best-priced parties in town, so you can find something really fun to enjoy without dropping a fortune. Of course, the lower price means that drinks are not included, so you'll want to factor that cost in, but there are sure to be drink specials and lots of great music to keep you dancing all night long.
