When you think vintage you probably think of old records and band t-shirts (cough hipster cough).
But, what if we told you about something older and even more vintage than your hipster paraphernalia?
Just imagine a saloon that was around before America was even America and that was the last place Edgar Allan Poe ever went before he died, therefore making it a little bit haunted.
That's right, we're talking about The Horse You Came In On Saloon (don't worry, it's okay if you don't actually arrive on a horse). This vintage saloon is so old that it's not only the oldest saloon in Baltimore, but it's actually the oldest functioning saloon in the entire country. If that's not good enough for you, how about the fact that it's also one of the few bars ever that's been around before, during and after prohibition. So yea, it's been here since before speakeasies were even invented and way before they were even cool.

Keeping with the old saloon look and feel, The Horse You Came In On still has wagon wheel tables and enough whiskey to appease (or rile up) even the craziest of cowboys. Don't worry though; the menu has definitely been modernized since 1775. Feel free to fill up on crafted margaritas, Barrel Aged Sangria, Tequila infusions, and some food like the Wild West Wings, a flame grilled burger or a nice Western Wrap.

Oh, and by the way, we didn't make up that fun fact about Edgar Allan Poe hanging out there right before he died. Rumor has it his ghost enjoys a good swing from the chandeliers, slamming doors and a glass of whiskey every once in a while.
So yeah, grab your mane man or your favorite nayyy-bor, horse around and stirrup a good time at The Horse You Came In On (okay I'm done with the puns now).
