Starbucks To Sell Alcohol At More Locations

Starbucks in Seattle and Portland, Ore., have been serving booze for more than a year now, and now Atlanta and Southern California locations will also get the adult treatment.

The "evening day-part concept," as Starbucks calls it, involves premium food (snacks, small plates, and flatbreads) along with location-specific wine and beer menus.

Currently, five stores in Seattle and one in Portland serve the classier menu; the coffee chain hopes to start serving alcohol in four to six stores each in Southern California and Atlanta. Perhaps a Starbucks Irish coffee is in the works as well?
