SOLI Architectural Surfaces Debuts Chef Kitchen With West Hollywood Event
Recently during a Thursday evening in West Hollywood, the hottest party wasn't at a club or restaurant, but instead a custom tile showroom. Architecture met cuisine and cocktails for the debut of SOLI Architectural Surfaces' new chef's kitchen featuring Super Thassos Engineered Glass, Serengeti Marble, Poggenpohl and Miele appliances. SOLI, an industry leader in decorative tile and natural stone, welcomed LA tastemakers along with top architects, interior designers and developers to the event.
"We are thrilled to announce the debut of our new chef's kitchen at SOLI," states owner and founder, Soli Besharat. "The full kitchen concept is a first for any stone, tile and architectural surfaces showroom like ours in LA. The new space allows for personal cooking in a professional environment, intimate coffee meetings and culinary events while showcasing some of our favorite surface options and products."
Celebrating in the airy Melrose Ave showroom, guests viewed the impressive kitchen space, perused SOLI's collection of exquisite tiles and were treated to hors d'oeuvres by Chef Govind Armstrong. The Top Chef contestant, LA restaurateur and caterer tempted party guests with tapas plates and unique small-bite creations. A play on fried chicken and waffles added a spicy-sweet crunch to the evening while Grade-A sashimi delighted.
To experience Chef Armstrong's contemporary twist on comfort food, head to his recently opened Willie Jane on Abbot Kinney in Venice. And venture into SOLI's Los Angeles showroom where you will find the highest quality stone, marble and tile that is luxurious, yet suitable and customizable for both commercial and residential use. SOLI services clients ranging from condos or casinos to national retail stores and restaurants.
