SLS Las Vegas Hotel To Open On Labor Day

The SLS Las Vegas Hotel, designed by hospitality firm sbe, will open its doors for the first time on Labor Day, Sept. 1, according to a press release. The highly-anticipated hotel will be the first property to open on the Las Vegas Strip in several years and will take over the space of the former Sahara Hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard. Currently, SLS has hotels in Beverly Hills and South Beach, with more locations to come.

SLS Las Vegas will include several innovative restaurant concepts, including The Bazaar by José Andrés, Katsuya by Starck, Cleo, 800 Degrees, Umami BurgerThe Griddle Café, and others to be announced. The hotel will also include its own rendition of the L.A. lounge The Sayers Club. The SLS Las Vegas is sbe's first hotel project in Las Vegas. The luxury resort is inspired by the Sahara Hotel, where Hollywood legends like Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and Elvis Presley have performed.
