We get it; the old school way isn't always the best way.
Take technology for example. Everyone knows that iPhones are way better than those old, giant, brick-like cell phone contraptions that didn't fit in briefcase, let alone a pocket (even though it does look like the iPhone 6+ is bringing us back in that direction).
However, when it comes to cuisine, Abe Fisher proves that some good old fashioned food takes the proverbial cake.

Abe Fisher is bringing back traditional Jewish food, but with a much more modern twist. Seriously, this is nothing like the typical Rosh Hashanah and Pass Over food that you're used to passing around the table. The traditional grain and noodle bowl has been replaced with raviolis filled with truffle cream and the traditional Gefiltre Fish has been replaced with a much more delicious Stuffed Trout version. There's also these Veal Schnitzel Tacos served with anchovy mayo that everyone will die over, no matter who you are, a Hungarian Duck for two, and the most amazing meal of all time: The Montreal-Smoked Short Ribs. We're not kidding; this is the most amazing piece of meat you will ever put into your mouth. Ever. These whole short ribs are cured for eight to ten days, then smoked over wood chips for two hours, THEN slow-roasted for another two hours, making them the tenderest, meatiest, tastiest ribs ever. They're meant for four people, but we won't judge you if you don't want to share.

If you need an excuse to stay longer, or are somehow not satisfied yet, not only do they serve fantastic food but there are awesome cocktails and other drinks as well. Imbibe at the bar with the signature Abe Fisher Cocktail, the Bitter End (the drink, not the end of your evening), or with the Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition (that's true, nobody saw that one coming). If you're still not satisfied... well we recommend seeing someone about that.
So head to center city and say Shalom to Abe Fisher, you'll be glad you did.
