San Francisco Giants Launching Food Truck Event

Food trucks aren't just catering weddings anymore; apparently the San Francisco Giants are launching an annual food truck event, in association with Off the Grid.

On June 13, right before the 7:15 p.m. game against the Houston Astros, the Giants will host "Off the Cove," a pregame party complete with a beer garden. Festivities start at 4:30 p.m. and continue throughout the game, meaning game food doesn't necessarily have to be of the hot dogs and burger variety.

Entrance to the event is free, but special game tickets includes game seats, access to special menu items, and an Off the Cove Giants T-shirt. Proceeds go towards La Cocina, San Francisco's nonprofit to help out low-income restaurateurs.
