Rome's Historic Hotel Hassler Roma Offers $48,000 Royal Penthouse Package
Rome's historic five-star Hotel Hassler Roma, built in 1885 atop the famed Spanish Steps, has just unveiled its new Penthouse Suite along with an epic package to inaugurate it. The 4,300-square-foot suite features four bathrooms, two panoramic terraces with incredible views of the iconic city, a fully equipped kitchen, large living room, separate dining area, and fully stocked cocktail bar.
Now's Rome's most luxurious suite sits atop the much-photographed hotel, which served as the U.S. Army's headquarters in World War II, and where Grace Kelly honeymooned in 1956 following her marriage to Prince Ranier of Monaco. These days the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham are regular visitors, and the hotel is known for its stately elegance and impeccable service suitable for its celebrity and jetsetter clientele.
The hotel has just 96 rooms, 14 of which are suites, crowned by the luxe new space. In celebration of the new suite, the Hassler is offering an A-list Royal Penthouse Package. Available through Dec. 20 and priced at about USD $48,000, the package includes two nights in the Hassler Penthouse Suite, a presentation of caviar and Champagne upon arrival, private butler service, daily in-suite breakfast, a "Rome by Night" privately guided walking tour of the city's famed fountains and squares, in-room massage for two by therapists from the Hassler's acclaimed Amovero Spa, and dinner for two at Imàgo, the Hassler's renowned Michelin-starred restaurant with a special tasting menu created by Chef Francesco Apreda.
