Los Angeles' Tuck Room Tavern Opens In Westwood Village

The new Tuck Room Tavern is a welcome addition to dining options in Westwood Village.

Housed in the lavish iPic Theatre space on Wilshire Boulevard, the restaurant offers diners a variety of seating options including the large bar, romantic outdoor patio, or intimate lounge area.

Playing tribute to golden era of film, much of the restaurant's dishes, artwork, and design elements reflect the prohibition period of the 1920s.

Custom cocktails include the coconut grove with coconut water, coco lopez, pineapple, Bacardi and El Dorado rums; Booth 50 with bourbon, grapefruit, honey and yuzu; the Norma Jean: a vodka spiked strawberry lemonade; and a variety of specialty margaritas.

Appetizer highlights include a cojita cheese stuffed grilled avocado; mac and cheese fries; short rib sliders, brioche crusted crab cakes, and ahi tuna poke. Salads include a hearty lobster cobb, classic Caesar, shrimp and beet, and chicken and faro options.

Main courses include a large Wagyu burger, southern shrimp and grits, chicken schnitzel, mango, and habanero bbq baby back ribs, jidori chicken, seared sea bass, braised short ribs, and a grilled rib eye steak.

Side dishes include sweet corn with bacon, charred cauliflower, smoked heirloom carrots, and caramelized Brussels sprouts.

Desserts include a red velvet pavlova; banana split tart; blueberry and blackberry pot pie; vanilla gelato and pineapple sundae; and a chocolate gelato, cake, and hot fudge sundae.
