Fresh strawberries, hand-squeezed lemons, and water — the recipe may be simple, but it makes for a refreshing summer combination whose tartness and sweetness you can modify to your own taste using cold water. The strawberries should provide enough sweetness, but you can add some agave nectar or sugar if you really feel like you need to amp it up.
- 2 containers strawberries, puréed
- 6 lemons, squeezed
Purée strawberries and strain through a cheesecloth over a pitcher. Stir in the lemon juice and fill the rest of a half-gallon container with cold water. Chill and serve.
