Encore Las Vegas Opens Jardin Restaurant

Encore Las Vegas has recently opened Jardin, a new restaurant taking the place of Botero.

Roger Thomas of Wynn Design created the new design utilizing floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool and creating a garden theme. Diners can also choose to sit on the lovely patio. Flowers, both fake and real, are everywhere amidst a white and gold palette.

Jardin is a welcome addition to the Wynn/Encore restaurant group for a number of reasons which include the light, airy ambiance, the delicious dishes, and that the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Breakfast highlights include juice, smoothie, and bloody Mary bars; a kale scramble with shaved Brussels sprouts and asparagus; Maine lobster Benedict; housemade granola; chicken and waffles; chilaquiles rojos; duck confit hash; and lemon and ricotta pancakes.

Lunch and dinner highlights include a chopped kale, skirt steak, Caesar, and market chopped vegetable salads; crab and guacamole; shrimp po boy sandwich; salmon with quinoa; chicken meatballs; pizzas; striped bass with clams, and a ranch rib eye steak. Jardin also offers a prix-fixe three course dinner for $49 with choices of meatballs, crabcakes, or kale salad; salmon, chicken breast or surf and turf, and butterscotch maple bourbon pudding or mini beignets.

Desserts include a pecan bread pudding, spiced pear crostata, beignet box, butterscotch maple bourbon pudding, citrus verrine, vegan tapioca, and a not to be missed "Fleur" chocolate cake — a layered dark chocolate mousse and chocolate cake in an edible chocolate flower pot.
