Strawberry Pomegranate Green Smoothie

Try this layered smoothie to change up your smoothie routine

Ingredients

For the pink layer

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 Cup frozen strawberries (or fresh!)
  • 1/2 Cup coconut water (from a can of coconut milk, cream skimmed)

For the green layer

  • 1 Cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 Cup pomegranate arils
  • 1/4 Cup coconut water (from a can of coconut milk, cream skimmed)

Directions

For the pink layer

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Fill glasses halfway with this part of the smoothie, leaving room for the green layer.

For the green layer

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Fill the glasses (containing the pink layer) to the top. Add toppings if desired, and serve with a straw.
