You know what they always say: opposites attract, and that couldn’t be truer when it comes to this cocktail. Jalapeño slices give a little bit of a bite that’s tempered by fresh watermelon and simple syrup.This recipe is courtesy of Aisha Sharpe for VDKA 6100.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 ounce vodka, preferably vdka 6100
  • 4 chunks watermelon
  • 3 slices jalapeño pepper
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
Directions
  1. In a shaker, muddle the watermelon and jalapeño.
  2. Add ice and remaining ingredients.
  3. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a martini glass.
