This is the perfect last-minute, chocolate dessert.

We love homemade desserts, but they usually take so much time and effort to make. This dessert only uses a few ingredients to make a deliciously moist pudding cake.

Ingredients

For the Cake

  • 1 package of instant chocolate pudding and pie filling mix
  • 3 Cups milk
  • 1 package of chocolate fudge cake mix plus ingredients to prepare mix
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Crushed peppermint candies (optional)

Directions

For the Cake

Spray a 4-quart slow-cooker with nonstock cooking spray. Add pudding mix, and whisk in milk.

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Carefully pour cake mix into slow-cooker. Do not stir. Cover and cook on high for one and a half hours or until cake is set. Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired. Garnish with candies.
