If you can’t be right next to that special someone this Valentine’s Day, you may as well snuggle up with a good whiskey cocktail. Utilizing maple-flavored whiskey, syrup, and orange bitters, this drink is like comfort in a glass.This recipe is courtesy of The Lobby Bar at The New York EDITION.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounce maple-flavored rye whiskey, preferably hudson maple rye
  • 1/4 ounce maple syrup
  • 1/4 ounce ramazzotti
  • 1/4 ounce orange bitters
  • lemon peel, for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients and ice in a mixing glass and stir.
  2. Strain into a Nick and Nora glass.
  3. Garnish with a lemon peel.
