Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Kick sweet potatoes up a flavor notch by tossing them in a blend of spices and roasting them to crispy perfection. Take this recipe even further by drizzling the sweet potatoes with balsamic vinegar and serve with your favorite protein.

  • 6 Cups cubed sweet potatoes, (about 3 large sweet potatoes)
  • 1/4 Cup olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 Teaspoon pepper


Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F.

Step 2: Toss 6 cups cubed sweet potatoes with 1/4 cup oil in large bowl.

Step 3: Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon paprika and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. 

Step 4: Toss again to coat well.

Step 5: Spread in single layer on foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan sprayed with no-stick cooking spray. 

Step 6: Roast 35 minutes or until tender, stirring halfway through cooking.
