Minted Mexican Mule

This isn't your average mule

Everything in moderation, right? Well, that’s what we thought too until we saw this Minted Mexican Mule recipe. Tequila, lime juice, and ginger beer with (or without) a mint leaf garnish: the perfect warm weather cool down cocktail.

This recipe is provided by Sauza®.


  • 1 ½ parts tequila, such as Sauza® Signature Blue Reposado Tequila
  • ½ part lime juice
  • 3 parts ginger beer
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)


Add liquid ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain over ice into a copper mug. Garnish with mint leaves.

Mint Shopping Tip

Keep both fresh herbs and dried herbs on hand. Dry herbs will last a long time, while fresh herbs have a short shelf-life.

Mint Cooking Tip

If you want the flavor of herbs in your food without the actual pieces, wrap them in cheese cloth and cook; discard before eating.
