With two preparation options, this matcha avocado smoothie can double as a latte during the colder months. Either blend with ice for a cool green tea treat, or warm the almond milk and enjoy as a green tea latte with a protein, greens, and vitamin boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup almond milk
  • ¼ of an avocado
  • 2 Teaspoons matcha
  • 1 serving vanilla-flavored vegan protein, such as Vanilla Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
  • A few drops of peppermint extract

Directions

Hot: Warm almond milk. Blend with ingredients until frothy.

Cold: Add ice and blend until smooth.
