Ingredients

For the Mocktail

  • 1/2 Cup Sparkling Ice® Coconut Pineapple
  • 1/8 Cup orange juice
  • 1/2 Cup crushed ice
  • 2 Teaspoons grenadine syrup
  • Pineapple chunks, paper umbrella, colorful straw for garnish

Directions

For the Mocktail

Add Sparkling Ice® Coconut Pineapple and orange juice to a clear glass and mix until combined. Add crushed ice and top with grenadine syrup. Garnish with pineapple chunks and a paper umbrella or straw.

Note: Grenadine syrup will collect at the bottom of the drink as it sits. So, highlight this wonderfully layered color effect by serving this drink in a clear glass.

Tip

To make larger quantities of this drink, adjust amounts accordingly and serve in a glass pitcher.

Mai Tai Shopping Tip

Buy your booze in bulk – transfer what you need into smaller bottles to stock your bar – you’ll save money and have enough leftover for your next party.

Mai Tai Cooking Tip

Add another layer of flavor to your cocktails by making your own simple syrup – combine equal parts sugar and water with whatever aromatics you like – fresh herbs, whole spices, citrus, or chile peppers – heat to dissolve sugar and strain before using.
