For the Lemon and Tangerine Glazed Carrots

  • 6 Cups sliced carrots
  • 1 1/2 Cup apple juice
  • 6 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 Cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons grated lemon peel
  • 2 Tablespoons grated tangerine peel
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • Chopped fresh Italian parsley

Directions

For the Lemon and Tangerine Glazed Carrots

Combine carrots, apple juice, butter, brown sugar, lemon peel, tangerine peel, and salt in a slow-cooker. Stir to blend. Cover and cook on low for four to five hours or on high for one to three hours. Garnish with parsley.
