Strawberries and sparkling wine are a classic Valentine’s Day combination, but this year shake up your holiday by adding a little bourbon in the mix.This recipe is courtesy of Jim Beam.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce bourbon, preferably jim beam black
  • 1/2 ounce strawberry schnapps liqueur
  • 1 ounce passion fruit juice
  • sparkling wine
  • lemon peel or strawberry, for garnish

Directions

  1. Shake all but sparkling wine with ice and strain into a chilled Champagne flute.
  2. Top with sparkling wine.
  3. Garnish with a lemon peel or place a strawberry on the rim.
