These M&M studded cookies from Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, owner of BIRD bakery are perfect for Easter, but they are just as delicious any other day of the year.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 cup fine sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 2 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 1/2 cup uick-cooking rolled oats
  • 4 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup easter or spring themed m&ms
  • 1 1/2 cup peanut m&ms
Directions
  1. Cream together butter and sugars until blended.
  2. Add eggs one at a time. Mix on medium speed until pale and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add vanilla, baking soda and syrup.
  4. Add peanut butter and mix until smooth.
  5. Carefully add oats one cup at a time, mixing well. Stir in the chocolate chip and M&M’s, mixing until completely incorporated.
  6. Scoop onto baking sheet using a serving spoon or small ice cream scoop. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
