Ingredients
  • 1 package krusteaz shortbread cookie mix
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • colored icing, candy or sprinkles for decorating
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place Krusteaz shortbread cookie mix and butter in medium bowl; stir until dough forms.
  3. Place dough on lightly floured surface; roll into 1/4-inch thickness.
  4. Cut dough using a floured egg-shaped cookie cutter. Place 1-inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown around edges. Cool thoroughly before icing.
  6. Decorate cookies with your favorite colored icing, candy or sprinkles.
