Cheesy Grits
Ingredients
  • 3 cup regular grits (not the quick variety)
  • 12 cup water
  • 2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoon or four tablespoons butter
  • 6 teaspoon salt
Directions
  1. Soften the butter.
  2. Combine all ingredients except the shredded cheese.
  3. Cook on low in the crock pot for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. About 15 to 30 minutes before serving, stir in shredded cheese. Enjoy!
