Buttered Apple Mulled Cider

By adding maple syrup and a slow cooker to the mix, this recipe is another way to will transform the original drink into a heartfelt and delectable treat. This recipe will help a true lover of apple cider expand their horizons and try something new.

Ingredients

  • 32 Ounces apple cider
  • 1/2 Cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Tablespoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 Tablespoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 Tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Combine apple cider and maple syrup in 3-1/2 quart slow cooker. Cover. Cook on Low for about 2-3 hours. Stir occasionally, until syrup dissolves. While cider and syrup is crocking, in bowl combine butter, sugar, and seasonings and mix well.
