Put Some Pep In Your Step At Nespresso's Pop-Up Boutique At Grand Central
Do you froth at the mouth over the smell of fresh brewed coffee? Nespresso invites you to follow your nose to their latest pop-up boutique in Vanderbilt Hall for a taste of their premium roasts and some interactive fun. From October 1-4, 2013, Grand Central Terminal will be hosting the event where guests will get a buzz from trying out their line of machines and feeling like a barista for the day (minus the apron).
To find out which of Nespresso's 21 Grand Crus to start a brew-mance with, step right up to their digital display and answer a round of questions on your coffee preferences. Once your match is identified, you're welcome to a complimentary sample to see if it's meant to be. The giant glass "What Grand Cru Are You?" installation is 18 feet wide and four feet tall, so six people can make a caffeinated connection at once.
We've said it before, and we'll say it again; what truly sets Nespresso apart from other coffee makers is the quality of its product. They hand-pick their coffee cherries to ensure each is at its peak ripeness, use a blend of 95 percent Arabica and five percent Robusta varieties, and employ very distinct roasting techniques for each blend. So what does all this really mean? One deliciously satisfying cup of Joe, that's what.
"Taste the Extraordinary" occurs on October 1, 2 and 4 from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and October 3 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
