Pasadena's Langham Huntington Enchants Kids With Magic Tea
The Langham Huntington, Pasadena is offering its quarterly Imagine Tea on Sunday, September 7, designed especially for children and featuring a touch of magic. The event is part of a family-oriented partnership created between the hotel and the junior program of Magic Castle. Imagine Tea benefits several local children's non-profit organizations, and the hotel will donate a portion of the September 7 Tea proceeds to the Pasadena Guild of Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
As part of the Imagine Tea experience, junior performers from the famed Magic Castle will be on hand to entertain young tea guests, performing close-up magic while children dine on a specialty menu of ham, turkey, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and whimsical desserts, all accompanied by pink lemonade, milk, and a selection of fruit-infused, caffeine-free teas.
Young guests will also have the opportunity to make their own magic during the tea, as they are invited to attend dressed as whichever character, person, or animal most appeals to their imagination. During the tea, each child will have the opportunity to use a special photo booth by Snapgram and create an imaginative craft with Little Junebugs.
Seatings are at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with tickets priced at $48 for adults and $28 for children ages 4 to 12; please note that reservations are required. The next Imagine Tea will be held on March 1, 2015.
