Paper Or Plastic For Your Deer Head?

Shoppers at Tesco, a supermarket in Essex, England, probably weren't considering bringing a whole head of venison home for dinner. Nonetheless, they were presented with the option when a severed deer head was left sitting on a self-service checkout counter, says BBC.

After a supermarket-wide search for the rest of the animal, its innards were found in one of the aisles.

Why and by whom the deer parts were left in the store is unclear, but Tesco apologized for any "distress" that the incident may have caused customers and, well, the deer, too.

It seems the deer that got its head stuck in the Doritos bag was a lot better off.
