This week on DFW Outdoorsman, we're bringing you the best "choice cuts" from our first five episodes. These "prime choice" highlights include Marcus and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Cameron Lawrence dove hunting... and talking a little football, our overnight bowfishing adventure on Lake Ray Roberts, and an epic hog hunt with Veterans Xtreme Adventures.

But wait, there's more! It's not just a recap of what we've done; we also have a sneak peek or two of our upcoming Texas-sized adventures.

Dallas Cowboys legend and hall of famer Randy White went bass fishing with us on Lake Fork and he's got a "whopper" of a fish story for you. Marcus and the crew took our Chevy Silverado to Royce City last month during bow deer season. We were in the elevated box blind before dawn. Marcus scanned the woods with his binoculars, while I used my video camera's viewfinder to search for deer from the other side of the blind. Suddenly, he and I both hear the telltale sounds of a deer making its way to the feeder from behind us through the fallen leaves. Then we — wait a minute, I can't spoil it.
