One Of Minnesota's Scariest Haunted Houses Opens In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Are you ready for some scares?

And we are talking real scares.

The Haunted Basement at The Soap Factory in Minneapolis is one of the most frightening haunted houses in the state, if not the Midwest.

Real artists and actors create a new, terrifying experience every year.

WCCO's Mike Augustyniak and Natalie Nyhus went down into the basement to preview this year's house, "Unhinged in the Haunted Basement."

"We bring you in, drop you down through and then you're on your own," Noah Brener, one of the creators or the basement, said.

As you can see, the haunted basement is not for the faint of heart.

You must be 18 to enter, and you have to sign a waiver.

Also, no heels allowed.

"Unhinged in the Haunted Basement" starts Saturday, Sept. 27 and runs through November 2nd.

Tickets are $20, but the for first weekend they are $15.

It sells out every year, so reserve you time slot online now.
