Oakshire Ill-Tempered Gnome Vertical At Roscoe's With Matt Van Wyk

Brewmaster Matt Van Wyk of Eugene, Oregon's Oakshire Brewing will be in PDX on wednesday February 26th at Roscoe's for a a special tasting.

Roscoe's will be tapping three different years of Oakshire's 'Very Ill Tempered Gnome', along with a couple of other great single batch beers. You can even meet brewmaster Matt Van Wyk, and some of the Oakshire crew.

Very iLL-Tempered Gnome is a stronger version of Oakshire's winter seasonal. Here is the description:

Look out! Someone in the brewhouse broke the Ill-tempered gnome's little red cap. Now he's very ill-tempered. To placate him, the brewers have cranked their hoppy brown ale up to 11! Well, 9.5 at least. Look for a complex malt profile balanced by a blast of flavorful and aromatic American hops, all woven together with a blanket of warming alcohol. This winter warmer is sure to soften the grumpy little guy!

Taster trays will be available, allowing for a flight with all three vintages.
