Cowabunga dude! The teenage mutant ninja turtles are back in a brand new live action adventure starring Megan Fox and Will Arnett. Take the kids to the AMC Loews Lincoln Square Movie Theater for a night of action, laughs and plenty of popcorn. Real D 3D showings are at 1:30, 4:00, 6:30 and 9:00 p.m. Regular 2D showings are at 2:30, 5:00, 7:30 and 10:00 p.m. Ticket prices vary based on time and 2D vs 3D showings.

New York City's classic restaurant week, which lasts about two, ends Friday August 15. See Kings Of Leon At Jones Beach

The Kings of Leon are holding court at Jones Beach Theatre on August 13th. Tickets are still available to see this platinum selling band perform their smash hit, "Use Somebody" as well all the other classics from their six studio produced albums. Young The Giant will also be performing as the opening act. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are still available starting at $74.

We're into the tail end of summer, but it's not too late to get the beach body you've always dreamed of. Sign up online and head to the Flatiron District on August 14th for the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp. Thursday's 6:30 p.m. hour-long class is Slim & Strong on 26th & 6th Ave and costs a single class sign up fee of $25. You'll use your own body weight and provided resistance bands and free weights to build muscle definition. Bring a mat and a bottle of water and get ready to have your glutes firmed, your thighs tightened and your arms toned!
Celebrate National Men's Grooming Day

August 15th is National Men's Grooming Day. Celebrate by hitting up Truman's Gentelman's Groomers on Madison Avenue. Truman's is a full service spot for everything you need to look and feel your best. Beard trimming, shoes shines, haircuts and even handshake maintenance (aka a manicure) are all par for the course. The shop is open from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. on Fridays and services run from $8 for a shoe shine to $150 for an hour and a half long massage.
