Nick Lachey Writes Love Song For Wendy's Pretzel Bacon Burger

Sure, you can always win over any of the girls at The Daily Meal with a quality burrata dish, but really, the way to our hearts is boy bands. So naturally, when Wendy's announced a partnership with Nick Lachey from 98 Degrees, we swooned. Let's just say, some of the staff may have attended that 98 Degrees/ Boyz II Men / New Kids on the Block concert a while back...

The burger chain called up Lachey to bring his good looks and smooth voice and sell their latest dish, the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger, in a campaign called #pretzellovesongs. The concept? Tweet a declaration of love to the burger, get someone to sing it.

Of course, Lachey couldn't just rely on the non-originality of the Twitterverse immediately (best we would come up with would be something lame like, "We will eat this burger if you'll love us, Nick!!!#$@%omg<3"). Instead, he pieced together an original song about the burger, serenading a crowd at a New York City Wendy's last night. Our inner 13-year-olds were squealing while it was happening.
