Watch: How To Brew The Perfect Pour-Over Coffee

If you feel like it's time to graduate from the tiny four-cup automatic coffeemaker that kept you awake during college, you may be ready to explore some more involved coffee-brewing methods.

In this video from Counter Culture, you'll get an easy guide to the pour-over coffee method, which is slightly more time-consuming than you're used to, but infinitely more beautiful.

Shot POV-style, you'll learn to master the manual pour-over, perfect for the "quality-minded minimalist."

Every detail is quite specific, but some of us are into that kind of thing.

You'll need a pour-over brewer, coffee beans, a grinder, a scale, coffee filters, and a carafe, plus hot water (195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit) to get started. If you currently have none of these items in your kitchen cupboards, then be warned that this tutorial video may make you want to buy them all. If that does happen, we don't blame you.
