SideBAR Will Donate $100 For Every Traded Ray Rice Jersey
SideBAR, the official New York City bar for the Baltimore Ravens, will be offering a jersey exchange for the entire month of September: for each Ray Rice jersey customers bring in, sideBAR will donate $100 to The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, which strives to bring political and legislative power to issues surrounding domestic abuse.
If you're in New York and you haven't already burned your Ray Rice jersey, this is a great alternative method of disposal.
Earlier this week, Baltimore pizzeria Hersh's Pizza and Drinks announced that it would give out free pizza to anyone who would trade in their Rice jersey, as well as donate $2.70 (Rice's jersey number was 27) to the House of Ruth anti-domestic violence organization in Maryland.
The Baltimore Ravens will also offer Ravens fans the chance to exchange their jerseys for another team member's jersey on September 19 and 20 at M&T Bank Stadium.
