Roy Choi And Jon Favreau To Host 'Chef' Pop-Up At Animal

On Monday, June 21, chef Roy Choi will host a "multi-course family tasting" with Jon Favreau in celebration of Chef, at Animal Restaurant from Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo.

Released earlier this year in May, the film stars Favreau as a talented but creatively unchallenged chef who rediscovers his passion for cooking when he starts a Cuban food truck, and features Roy Choi as an (off-screen) technical consultant.

The multiple-course tasting will cost $75 per person, and will take place from "6:00 p.m. 'til the last Cubano is gone." Reservations for the Chef pop-up can be made through Animal every day after 2 p.m.

If you're not able to make it to the full tasting, El Jefe Cubanos will be available to-go for $9.
