Meatball Shop Opens Location With Walk-Up Window, Ice Cream
On Monday, July 14, The Meatball Shop opens its sixth location in New York City at 447 Amsterdam Avenue, between 81st and 82nd streets.
The newest location will feature two unique elements: the first-ever Meatball Shop walk-up window, and the first-ever Meatball Shop ice cream cart.
Parked behind the shop's walk-up window, the ice cream cart will feature exclusive flavors of house-made ice cream sandwiches including Lemon Fro-Yo, Sour Cherry Lambic, and Sweet Corn ice creams served between Dark Chocolate Fudge, Hazelnut Snickerdoodle, and Butter-flavored cookies.
As an added bonus, for every hundred ice cream sandwiches sold, a lucky guest will win a "golden ticket" offering special gifts like The Meatball Shop Cookbook, the Grinder baseball hat, and a personal meatball-making class with chef Daniel Holtzman.
From July 14 through July 1, the restaurant will be open from 5:00 p.m. until 12 a.m. Beginning Monday, July 21, the shop will be open Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. until 12 a.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. until 2 a.m.
