New Restaurant To Open In Lime Wood Hotel

British chef Angela Hartnett is bringing her casual style of cooking to her new yet-to-be-named restaurant that will open next year in the Lime Wood Hotel in Hampshire.

Hartnett has already teamed up with Lime Wood Hotel's head chef Luke Holder to create a menu of Italian-influenced dishes made from fresh local ingredients.  Both chefs have a shared "culinary ethos coupled with a joint passion and core influence from the Italian kitchen," said Holder.

Because the Lime Wood Hotel borders the New Forest National Park in the South of London, the restaurant will make use of the forest produce that is on-site. The unnamed restaurant will have a focus on local foods both farmed and foraged.

The restaurant is expected to open in January of 2013.
