"Liberated Caviars" at David Burke's Primehouse: Located in Chicago, the restaurant introduced a new spin on the classic vodka and caviar pairing. A good example is the Chips & Dip, made of homemade "pringles" and a yuzu tobiko caviar dip, is paired with Titos vodka.
Correa Appointed as New Executive Chef: Dario Correa is the new executive chef for The Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Miami, Florida. He plans to bring his passion for rustic authentic cooking to the hotel's Italian restaurant Spartico.
Hyperion Public's Weekend Eats: California's Hyperion Public will host "Booze and Barbecue Weekends," which will start during the Memorial Day weekend from Saturday, May 25th to Monday, May 27th at 1 P.M. The menu includes choices such as: Skirt Steak Skewers, Portabella Burger, and Watermelon Salad.
Beauty & Essex's Weekend Brunches: This New York establishment introduces a new menu for weekend brunches. The $48 Saturday Prix Fixe menu offers four savory dishes and one dessert from 11:30 A.M. to 3 P.M. The Sunday Champagne Brunch Prix Fixe has three savory dishes, one dessert, and two glasses of champagne for $45 from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M. Think Red Velvet Waffles, Braised Short Rib 'Huevos Rancheros,' and Caramel Mousse Bombe.
Épicerie Boulud's Picnic Menu: Daniel Boulud's gourmet market offers a picnic menu starting today, May 24th. The $22 picnic comes with a choice of sandwich or salad, chips, dessert, water, and a recycled tote. Enjoy a picnic with family and friends in Central Park, which is a block away from the market.
Triniti Restaurant's Guest Chef Series and Weekend Wine Tastings: The Houston, Texas restaurant will start its new Monday Guest Chef Series in June. Chef Ryan Hildebrand will host $75 per person eight-course tasting dinners designed by visiting chefs from restaurants such as Feast, Latin Bites, and Soma Sushi. The restaurant also has a new weekend wine tastings every second Saturday of the month from 4-6 P.M. for $25, which began on May 18th.
Bistro Rollin's New Sidewalk Café: Bistro Rollin opened its seasonal Sidewalk Café in Pelham, New York. The new summer menu has tagliatelle with pesto, spring peas and pancetta, soft shell crabs with jumbo asparagus and carrot-ginger sauce, and more. Enjoy ice cream and sorbets made with fresh fruit, such as the strawberry and sour cream ice cream.
Casa Nonna's Spring Menu: Executive chef Julio Genao from Casa Nonna in New York's Hell's Kitchen created a spring menu featuring seasonal vegetables. Look for Risotto con Carciofi, Morel & Spring Pea Agnolotti and Spring Vegetable Ragu.
