Missy Rayder Stuns In The Golden Spanish-Inspired Campaign For Paula Mendoza
With all the focus on Fashion Week and new fall collections we almost forget that jewelry brands are coming out with their own stunning campaigns as well, and these are seriously made to impress. Tapping American model Missy Rayder, who has posed for Vogue Italy, Spain, and Germany, Colombian designer Paula Mendoza released a lookbook that is almost as gorgeous as her metalwork. Shot by Tigre Escobar, the images for the Spring/Summer 2015 lookbook are inspired by Aranjuez, a Spanish castle from the 16th century, and feature a simple palette of gold, black and white.
Playing an integral part in the campaign, gold is also the focus of the collection as Mendoza uses the Columbian metal as a way to not only help improve the country's economy, but to also bring attention to the beauty of her homeland. The spring collection is heavy and decorative, and the campaign highlights each piece in a colorful or empty background, with Rayder dresses in either all white or black ensemble.
The spring collection has just been released and is available online at Net-A-Porter.
