Malaysia Night In London's Trafalgar Square
Malaysia Night is back in London for the fourth year in a row. On Friday Oct. 4, Trafalgar Square will be transformed into a food festival offering a taste of Malaysian cooking and culture.
Some of the best Malaysian restaurants in the UK will be featuring their signature dishes, representing the best of Malaysian culture and cuisine. Chefs such as Ian Pengelley from Pan Chai will also have cooking demonstrations to show that delicious Malaysian food can be easily prepared at home.
Some signature Malaysian dishes that will be served include satay and beef rendang. Satay consists of chopped meat grilled with a spicy seasoning, served on a skewer, and beef rending is a meat dish cooked in coconut milk with mixed spices, served with steamed rice.
While enjoying the food, visitors can watch performances from musicians or go to an art show, conceptualized by native Malaysian artists, all of whom are visiting London for this special event.
Located in the heart of London, and completely free of charge, Trafalgar Square's Malaysian night is an event not to be missed. The festivities are going on from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. To find out more on Malaysian Food in the UK, go here.
