Local Animal Rescue Organizations To Hold Massive Adoption Event
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Six animal rescue organizations are teaming up for a massive adoption event this weekend.
The PSPCA – along with ACCT Philly, Morris Animal Refuge, PAWS, Operation Ava and the Women's Humane Society – is hosting a three-day "Mega Match-a-Thon."
The goal is to adopt out 400 pets at the event, which has drawn crowds of potential adopters in past years.
Additionally, all PSPCA adoptions will be "name your own fee" and vaccines will be offered for $15 at the event – about 50% off the agency's already low-cost vaccine fees.
The event is being held at the PSPCA Headquarters at 350 Erie Avenue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit: www.pspca.org.
